2 min read

Well well see what we got here, what do I always tell you guys about debuts?? haha I’m over excited by this trio and you know what I love more about them? They just do anything music , they don’t care about genres, it’s just music and it’s pure flames. Infact Dortmund’s latest rock/punk trio, NRY, isn’t here to be labeled into any particular genre. They are all about making great music, songs that go beyond mere punk rage. NRY’s music delivers punky anger, hammering beats, expressive guitars and resonant bass, all complemented by lyrics that narrate bittersweet stories of personal experiences and touch on relevant societal themes.

Their debut album, “ON/OFF,” which was released on October 20th via NCR Records/DIY or DIE Records, was supported by two pre-released singles, “Someday” and “Love Of A Vampire.” These tracks are all about hope and a strong political statement regarding the Russian invasion into Ukraine. NRY’s music is a punch right to the listener’s senses, appealing to fans of bands like The Foo Fighters.

NRY’s “A World Collides” is a dynamic and emotive rock song. From the very beginning, the song grabs your attention, with the lyrics inviting us to witness a mind in turmoil, colliding with the floor, leaving behind a broken door. The lyrics reflect on love’s transformative power, as if love could mend the shattered pieces. It’s a reminder that even in the depths of despair, there’s hope for change. NRY’s music captures the essence of punk and rock while mixing it with a unique touch of dynamic energy. The emotional depth and powerful sound appeal to a wide range of listeners. “A World Collides” is a song about facing adversity and finding the strength to carry on.

As part of their debut album “ON/OFF,” NRY’s “A World Collides” sets the stage for what promises to be an exciting musical journey. This is just a tip of the iceberg, go give the album a full listen and trust me there’s no disappointment here. While they draw influences from The Foo Fighters and beyond, NRY’s music is a refreshing addition in the music industry, offering listeners an authentic musical experience. Be prepared for more from NRY, as they continue to challenge genre boundaries and deliver music that connects with the heart. Click on the links below for more info about them and the album;
