Now this song Mirror’s Gaze starts darkly with these haunting guitar roars that sets the tone of fear and intimidation to walk through life knowing your past and dreams maybe tormenting you on your way. Then those zombie like vocals adding depth and layers of emotions and feeling the fear of having to confront your past which will be lingering around the corners. The song then opens with lines that creates an imagination of fighting through the ruins, where your past won’t let you be and lingers around like whispers in the silence like ghosts. Then as the song goes on, you’re drawn deep to analyze and ponder on some of your decisions, the choices you made and reflect on them with unspoken questions.
Then along the line you hear lines like “once again, in the mirror skies, use a stranger’s face,Now see the labyrinth ends of thoughts growing breath,The dark descends, a curtain of despair, exist only for my stolen sin”. This hints at the pain of feeling like a stranger to yourself, the inner turmoil of your decisions, dreams burnt cos of your choices and all you have left is to contemplate on why you even exist at all. Such a deep lyrics, what a talent, and what’s soo intriguing to me is the ability to create a zombie like vocals to match the song’s atmosphere and drive to put the listener in the feels of the song and let them reflect on their own life and resonate deeply with the song. That’s just marvelous and bravo to you Parham Gharavaisi, you nailed this one and I love it.
Well this song Mirror’s Gaze ain’t just your regular song, it’s intriguing with deep lyrics, haunting atmosphere like no other and the ability of the song to put you through its vibe is crazy.
