Sometimes in life things just happens and takes a deep toll on us, but when stuffs like that happens then you need those courage and bravery to turn negativity, grief, trauma and everything that life throws at you into hope, resilience and positivity. Well we all need that one person or moment or something to tell us these and man what I have here from UK-based singer-songwriter Kully Bath is what we all need. She titled this one Rising Tides EP. An EP that goes deep on human emotion, where it allows the listener to change grief and trauma into matters of hope, self-awareness, and purpose. From the first track to the last track, they all offer a beautiful perspective to life’s challenges which will resonates with every listener. The EP tho, man it’s lit and demonstrates Kully’s courageous storytelling and talent. The singer-songwriter born in the West Midlands, is a passionate singer-songwriter whose musical journey began at a young age. What’s magical about this EP is the emotional depth and how Kully’s soulful vocals guides and propel it in every single. Not only has Kully been killing it in the music scenes, but she’s been pivotal in addressing mental health issues and well she also served as an ambassador to the Mayor of Walsall, so you just know you’re in for a magical treat haha.

There will be silent places which hints at the void left behind and how we wish to never let them go. But we’ve to let those memories and love go, cos holding onto those pain will only slow us down while life’s clock keep ticking. This is a song that is perfect to kickstart the EP and carries a message that resonates with everyone.
The third track on the EP “Born to Be Brave”. This is a beautiful song that carries a message of resilience and encouragement at the challenges life throws at us. Life can be cruel as it want and this song just brings this drive and energy to the listener to keep moving and never look back irrespective of the struggles and challenges life gives us, let’s keep fighting and move on. It’s a song of encouragement that projects bravery and drive to the listener. It’s a song of strength and power to move on in life.
Putting the EP to bed is this track “Stranger to Myself”. This song talks about the aftermath of significant personal change. This song lay emphasis on the pains and scars left behind after everything, the lyrics paints this picture of how difficult it becomes to recognize ones true self after a loss.
