“HEAR ME OUT” BY ELECTRIC HIGH: A POWERFUL BEACON FOR FREEDOM OF SPEECH

Sometimes all we gotta do is speak up and let people know what is really happening but then we are worried who’s gonna hear us even if we speak? Who’s gonna believe us? But one thing is for sure, we gotta speak up and ask people to hear us out and that what Norwegian alternative rock band Electric High has for us with their electrifying single, “Hear Me Out.” It’s not always you’re gonna let people intimidate you, oppress you and just let things stay as of is. We all have our freedom of speech, so why don’t you speak up? You don’t know how much of a great good you may be doing by speaking up. And this is the kinda song that leaves you believing in yourself, motivated and in good spirits to grow out of your shell. You may be curious to find out what this band is, haha well after the success of their previous release, “Crooks,” I can say Electric High has really got this music thingy and there’s no stopping them in the rock music scenes. When you listen to their tracks, the energy and drive you feel is heavenly, it’s like you’re immersed into their world and the way their songs makes you put yourself in their shoes is crazy, and this song is no different. Get ready cos it’s freaking amazing.
Now this song “Hear Me Out” is one beauty of a track that gets it fuel from powerful guitar riff and a stomping drum beat, which drives the song’s atmosphere and message, that sets the stage for a dynamic listening experience. What I love about the song is how it effortlessly transitions into an airy, soaring chorus, that just pierces your soul and lets you intoxicate yourself with it double lead vocals that are unmistakably Electric High. The switches and flow of the song is enormous, the way the track begins is luring and makes you think, oh what’s is this, lemme see how it pans out, then the chorus just pierces your heart and now you wanna listen to the song all day. That’s some fucking creativity in there, the tone and notes the beats were set in are soo lively and my goodness, it gives you the feel to enjoy it forever. The song is a beacon of hope that touches on freedom of speech which is actually inspired by the band’s bass player, Ein, and his catchphrase “Hear me out!” Then as the song goes on, the lyrics lay emphasis on our own struggles, our problems, conflicts and the consequences of our actions. It’s a free world and freedom of speech, but watch what you say, cos you don’t know the context it might be taken out for. But that doesn’t mean, don’t speak up, in whatever you do, never be intimidated to express your view and speak up. Let people hear you out even if it seems impossible. The way the song was crafted with all those twists are amazing, and I must say I love it.
Big ups to the band, they really did amazingly well with its production, with the song being recorded at Havnelageret Studio in Bergen, Norway, and engineered by Daniel Birkeland. Then it was mixed and mastered in Solslottet Studio by Iver Sandøy, ensuring a polished and professional sound, and I must say wow, it came out perfectly. Then while listening, it sounded soo familiar, the way they play, the way they sing, then I realized the band led by two lead singers infuses alternative rock and classic hard rock, with inspirations from Rival Sons, Royal Blood, and Aerosmith. And this song right here has every blend of it and you can actually feel the Aerosmith vibes real fucking good, and it’s lovely. But well in case you didn’t know Electric High consist of members that comes from bands like Sahg, Faith Circus, and Emmerhoff & The Melancholy Babies, so now you understand why they soo freaking good and lively.
Well this song “Hear Me Out” has really solidified the band’s pole position in the music scenes. And to me, they are going straight to the top and there’s no stopping them. The way the put in their infectious energy, catchy hooks and deep lyrics, coupled with top notch delivery and production, I can say this is a solid 10/10 project and a must-listen masterpiece.
