If you live in California, it’s just impossible to say you haven’t heard of “The Project,” well maybe just maybe you haven’t but then it’s like saying you watch WWE but you don’t know who John Cena is, like come on, Bruh. Led by James Davis, who you may know from his days as the Lead guitarist of 00s sensation Shameless, “The project” combines Classic hard rock with pop to make music that makes you feel like you’re sleeping in the heavens. People are dying for their debut album “Best Days” to be released but until then, we’re still eating good because the lead single “Best Days” is here and it’s just 🔥🔥

After James left “Shameless, that’s when he got together with Jeff Plant and Andre Bonter to form “The Project” and together, they’ve been making some of the best music you’ll ever come across. The lead single “Best Days” is just a beautiful preview of the album. It shows you exactly what to expect and what’s in store for you. How this band combines rock with other genres to make their music is just amazing. After listening to this song, i know it’s definitely gonna remind you of bands like “Smashing Pumpkins” and “Black Sabbath”.

“Best Days” was recorded at Arrowhead West Studio in Rancho Cucamonga, California and produced by Dennis Hill, yes, the guy known for working with top artists and bands like Sammy Hagar and Montgomery Gentry. And oh let’s not forget, it was also Co-produced and engineered by Steven Barnett and mixed and mastered by Mike Troolines. From the names of geniuses who’s worked on this track and album, man, you don’t even need to be told how amazing this is gonna be. What’s even more crazy is the music video. To describe it in one word, i’d say “Perfection”. The video just complements the song so well and what’s even got more fans excited is the fact that the band hinted at a new member being revealed in a the new months to come.

And don’t even get me started with the lyrics. The lyrics basically talks about the challenges of moving on after a rough breakup. It also talks how life feels really different after the break up and also talks about the ups and downs of life without an ex to bother you, after all those struggles and problems just know you’re about to enjoy the best days and the delivery, vocals and beats makes it so much more better. Infact we all often struggle to let go that ex after those rough breakups, sometimes even moving on with our own life gets harder and makes us weak and vulnerable but you know what?
